How Can I Get Bill Collectors To Stop Calling?

A few old bills that I have been unable to pay have been turned over to a collections agency, and they have been repeatedly calling and harassing me. I really want to stop this Class B misdemeanor, but I am not sure how to go about it. A friend told me that what they are doing is illegal and that I should get a lawyer, but I am not sure I can afford to do this. Can someone recommend a good lawyer that would be willing to give me a free consultation so that I can see if there is anything they can do to help me, and whether or not I can afford to use them?

Portable Restrooms here we come

Okay, I have a friend who went through a housing remodel recently. This guy did some serious work. Well he ended not having access to his two full restrooms for three months. He rented some of those Portable Restrooms and put them in the back yard. You know, when you are the sole occupants of one of these potties, they stay pretty clean. I was amazed at how convenient they were. I almost want to see about putting one of these permanently in our back yard. Then the kids can just use that instead of constantly opening and closing the back door and letting all the cool air out!

Retirement from probate work… at the lake

I have worked for a law office in Chicago for over 25 years. I was know as somewhat of an institution in the law firm I worked for and when I decided to retire they threw me a big party. I was so touched by their appreciation. They gave me a gold watch and the senior partner gave me the use of his lake house for two weeks this summer. I have always wanted to live in a lake house although they never paid me enough to buy a lake house my self. I felt this was a way to get some of my dreams fulfilled. The work I did at the law firm involved probate and estate settlement. I enjoyed the work but it was always somewhat sad because you deal with death and dying and a family is suffering. For a young person I would recommend the industry but make sure you get paid better than me. so maybe you could own you own lake house.

Graber blinds-you can not go wrong

When it comes to home decor I have a lot to learn. For me everything has to be inexpensive and easy to install. I have learned that you can’t go cheap when it comes to window blinds. I had cords break and hardware fall out of the wall. My Mother told me to order Graber blinds because they are so well made and she has never had a problem with them in her home. My off the rack blinds look inexexpensive because they are. I wanted to do a good job on my home and I will but I do have a lot to learn.

Who is that girl in the office who learned to run her car on water? More importantly where did she learn it? I would like to do some more research into this and see if the same method would work for me but I am not sure who to trust. I have bought into other devices in the past in attempts to improve my fuel economy and have not had a great deal of success. If I could really learn to make my car run on water I could finally afford to pay off my mortgage and start putting more money into savings!

We want to paint our acoustical ceiling. I know it will be a messy process, and I am not looking forward to it at all. If we had the money I would hire a professional just so I wouldn’t have to deal with it myself. My one problem right now is trying to figure out how much paint I will need for this job. I understand that when painting acoustical ceilings for the first time it can take a lot of paint, so I am wondering if anyone can advise me on where I can go to find out how much paint I need for my ceiling.
