MP3 Downloads and Old Song Pricing

At most retailers selling the old technology of CDs, you can get pretty much any album at about 10 bucks. Assuming that there are at least 10 songs on that CD, and there are usually more, that equates to about 1 dollar per song. Now, if you buy the old CD albums, the price is usually anywhere from five to seven dollars, which results in a pricer per song in the range of 50 to 70 cents.
How come MP3 downloads are all priced the same, regardless of the age of the song or album. Granted, there are plenty of sites offering free mp3 downloads, but none the less, there should by a pricing model implemented for older songs. Maybe new releases at 99 cents and one year after release, a price of 70 cents.
