Big Uniform Decision Looms

For the past five years, our children have attended a private school. Both my husband and I spent our elementary years at a Christian school, and we fully believe in the value of the religious education during the formative years. This year, the school board is making a big decision. They are considering enacting a dress code which would require all the kids to wear School Uniforms. My husband and I aren’t entirely sure how we feel about this. Our children really enjoy expressing themselves through their clothing choices, and we are concerned that the uniform decision may cause them to dislike school even more than they already do. Only time will tell, I suppose.
