Broken, But Still A Treasure
By admin | August 20, 2009
When Trent was a toddler, he would grab at anything he can hold. And during that time, a number of things – including several of my necklaces and bracelets – broke, smashed or got damaged.
I thought I could never make use of those broken gold pieces again. It would have been a total waste had I not been able to sell broken gold jewelries during a gold party. And it was fun!
I organized a gold party and invited over my friends. I convinced them to sell broken gold jewelries that they just keep on keeping in their jewelry boxes. After being appraised, an offer is then made for the broken gold. The guests can have their broken gold valued but they are not compelled to sell broken gold. But if the offer is good, who could resist?
So, I finally got rid of those broken gold pieces. To sell broken gold jewelries not only clears up the space in my jewelry box but it also enables me to earn some cash to buy Trent the bike he’s been hankering me for.
