Consider Electricity Suppliers, Mind the Carbon Tax

By admin | January 15, 2012

You can only expect the prices of electricity to increase next year once the carbon tax law is fully implemented. With this in mind, you’ll have to ensure that the electricity company you’re subscribed to offers the best terms on the energy market. Even though you’ll hardly notice any difference in suppliers’ power rates, you can make up for the costs through their frill offerings, such as rebates, loyalty discounts, and signup privileges. If you’re currently locked to a contract with a supplier, consider the option of paying the terminal fee before you switch. July is a bit far off, but you’ll have to ensure you’re signed up to the right supplier when the carbon tax takes effect.
