Forge business improvement with lean principles

By admin | June 29, 2008

Improving customer satisfaction by increasing value adds to the customer experience. Building customer loyalty is difficult when changing consumer preferences and tastes can mean you are a market leader one day and a follower the next. Eliminating non-value adding activities and eliminating waste is beneficial to the customer if it reduces product turn around or results in a superior product at a cheaper price. Lean principles have been used by companies on a worldwide basis to adapt processes to forge improvements. Originally developed by the Japanese, this philosophy is responsible for transforming the way that many companies go about their business activities.
