Job Opportunities Are Limited By Companies themselves

My wife has been looking for any Job Opportunities in the retail market. She has found that more and more companies are offering jobs saying that they offer above the minimum wage. When you actually go for an interview you find out that they offer just above the limit. Yesterday she went for an induction as she got a job through a phone interview. At the induction she asked the hourly pay rate. The rate was just one penny above the minimum wage. That is a con to me and annoyed my wife as she expected a bit more. The big companies don’t do themselves any favors when it comes to recruiting decent staff with tricks like that.
