By admin | October 31, 2008

There is a sudden and urgent need to be helping needy children in the southern part of Pakistan following an earthquake that collapsed many homes and which officials say has killed more than 200 needy people. Many of these are children. It is the cold time of the year, and the earthquake survivors will need warm bedding and clothing as they start to rebuild shattered lives. The earthquake struck at 5 in the morning, according to reports. This means children were in beds atr the time. As their homes fell into piles of mud and bricks, the would not have had a chance to flee. There were two shocks. Now the survivors wait for aid agencies to come to their aid.
