What Is EFT

If you have never heard of EFT – the Emotional Freedom Technique – much less know what it really is. If you knew what it was and how it could help you in all aspects of your physical, emotional and practical life, you would probably try it.  It’s simple to learn, even simpler to implement – and the potential benefits of EFT are  really great.

 EFT developed from Thought Field Therapy (TFT) during the 1990s, through the work of Gary Craig.

These were discovered over five thousand years ago by the ancient Chinese. They found an energy – invisible to our senses – which flows through our bodies. This energy flows along the meridians; carrying this energy to all parts of the body.

 Disturbances in this energy flow are likely to cause physical and mental problems and so it is on freeing up these energy flows that EFT works. There are fourteen such meridians in the body which the Emotional Freedom Technique works upon. By really focusing your mind and tapping in on these specific meridian points – points on which acupuncture and acupressure therapies also use – you can rid yourself of many physical, emotional and mental issues which may be causing you many kinds of physical or mental problems.

So you no longer need to ask what is eft as you have a basic understanding of what it is and how it works.
