The thing about alzheimers disease is that most people dont understand that it will consume a person up to the point of changing their personality. The daughters and people taking care of their elderly parents are most often in charge of all the familial duties and are obligated to take care of them. There are plenty of reasons for this. The first is that most families are under the same pact under government regulations that the next person needs to deal with. The strain on the family can be devastating as more and more people are moving to home health care. Alzheimers disease has a serious effect on families.
