Dinner Party Menu: Roast Duck and Penfolds RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz 2004

My wife and I love having dinner parties, and do so on a frequent basis. She is quite the chef, and always plans the meals far in advance, and down to the last detail. We always shop for her ingredients together, which is an added bonus, as our frequent dinner parties mean frequent shopping dates as well. We are having another party this weekend, and she is serving roast duck. I always pick the wines to serve, and this time I’m thinking about going with Penfolds RWT Barossa Valley Shiraz 2004. It has a lovely blackberry edge, and is perfect with the was she prepared duck.
