I Was In Serious Need Of Deck Stain

I was walking out back one day onto my deck and about had a heart attack when I saw lots of cracks in my wood. I also got a splinter in my foot as I was walking barefoot across the deck. I was furious that my husband had let the deck get this bad. I immediately went inside and called a company to come out and take a look. Sure enough when they got there they told me that we had not gotten deck stain in about seven years and that was why my deck was cracking and splintering. They applied deck stain and told me to get it again every 2-3 years.
