Let your puppy become comfortable with its leash

A common challenge to puppy training is the collar or leash. It does not take a long time for your puppy to adjust to the collar, but it will take some time. You should select a collar or leash that does not fit too tightly, but comfortably so that your puppy does not associate it with pain and discomfort. Also, do not forget to add the identification tag and license in case your puppy gets lost. Do not restrain your puppy when you first put the collar on. Let it jump, roll and claw at the collar until it gets used to it.
