No matter how I tried to word it, it seemed to come across as awkward.

I played around with a couple of different ways to ask Kevin if I should take Brad back. No matter how I tried to word it, it seemed to come across as awkward. I decided that I would not tell him that Brad was the one. He just needs to know that I want to get an ex back. The identity of the ex is not really complicated. Besides, he may be able put two and two together and figure it out on his own. If he figures it out, it is cool. If not, that is cool, too. I want to keep this as simple as possible.
