What Form Should I Get My Currency in for Travelling?

By admin | August 18, 2009

I am taking my first trip out of the country, and I am a bit nervous about it. I don’t know how much money to bring, and what form to bring it in. Should I get my travel currency in the form of travelers’ checks, in cash in the currency of the country I am going to, or in some mix of the two? I will also have some dollars with me as well. Can anyone give me some advice? I figure a mix is probably the best, but I don’t know how much of any type of currency I should bring.
