Is very interesting that when a top level domain comes out people have to have a reason for to exist. There were the mobile domains ending in .mobi and now there is a company that is trying to create a large directory and it wants everyone to use their name ending in a .tel.  The idea of trying to make people think that a .com is not the most powerful thing out there is a mistake in my opinion. Everyone seems to use a godaddy coupon to obtain their domain names at a great price for registrar they can trust. Obtaining another top level domain is possible from a site like this and they allow you to do it but most people just get them in addition to their main domain.
