Your Science Fair Project is Due When?

I raised three boys and believed in letting them do their own homework. However, that still meant I helped come up with project ideas, meet deadlines, and get all the supplies they needed. This meant paying close attention to the “school calendar” we kept tacked up on the wall. It also meant long evenings at the library, trying to find projects, then get instructions. Last week my grandson told me he got his school project completed over the weekend. All he did was log on to a website which offered winning science fair ideas. After choosing one he gave a list of supplies to his Mom, then finished the project the next day. Where was the Internet when I needed it?
