Some Facts About Golf Carts
By admin | January 29, 2008
Originally designed to carry two golfers and their clubs around a golf course the modern golf cart can be powered by gasoline engine or battery. Some golf carts are powered by hydrogen. Riding in a golf cart, or golf buggy as it is sometimes called is far more effortless than walking the course with clubs in tow.
Electric golf carts came on the links scene in the 1950s in California. By the early 1970s gasoline powered golf carts were seen in golfing communities in Florida.
As a result of this golfing innovation many other uses have been developed for the vehicle. Some locations around the world where other vehicles are prohibitive welcome the use of golf carts as an alternative to conventional automobiles.
