Get A Solar Powered Home For Less

A few years ago my husband and I became interested in solar powered energy when a friend built a home which uses solar panels for energy. We love any idea that includes saving money and also includes a way to use less fossil fuel.
At the time we decided not to convert our home because the cost was too high. Recently we started researching Solar Power for Homes again and found that there is an affordable way to build and install our own solar energy system.
We have ordered the instructions and have been shopping at our local home supply store, where we can get everything we need to build our system.
By early spring we hope to begin converting our home, and maybe next summer we can say goodbye to those high air-conditioning bills.
