International Kindle Is Now The Standard
By admin | October 26, 2009
Amazon have announced that they will now standardise on their international Kindle and that the US only version will be dropped. This comes just two short weeks after the announcement that the Kindle would be made available to international customers. It is also accompanied with the second price cut in as many weeks, with the international Kindle price falling from $279 to $260 - which is the same price as the Barnes and Noble Nook e-book reader. It also means that Amazon will be using AT and T instead of Sprint to provide its wireless connectivity for all Kindle 2 readers.
