Understanding What Network Management Is

The most common areas in which network management is used are in the field of telecommunications and computers; though, to a lesser extent, it is also used in terminal gear. People that are engaged in network management will be called upon to execute as well as work with functions that deal mainly with monitoring, security, allocation, control and deployment as well as planning and coordination. Routing plays a very important role in network management and in this regard use is made of a routing table that helps in recording routes that are most efficient as far as passing of information packets from the source computer to the destination PC.
