Beautiful city of Auckland

I have been away on business for a long time, and I just want to be able to have a couple days to relax before I head back out for another long business trip. I am in Australia right now, and I have heard there are some great cheap hotels in Auckland. If I can make it over to that island, maybe I can get one of these hotels and have a great little mini vacation before it is all business again. The city of Auckland is just so beautiful, I think it is worth it to head over to that island.
