Make sure though to check the background and consumer feedback of the company selling timeshare. You should ask yourself first if you really need to have timeshares. Make sure that if you are eager to buy a timeshare now, you would not regret it later on for the reason that you didn’t really need it. Buying a timeshare is a good buy if you start planning your vacation well in advance of your travel dates, usually at least eleven months ahead and sometimes longer. Most timeshares today are offered as floating weeks or ownership is based upon points and as an owner you will have a priority booking window for your reservation, but then at some point that priority is opened up to all of other timeshare owners as well. If you tend to be a spur of the moment vacationer, timeshares are probably not going to be a good buy for you at any price.
